Who is Chris?

Chris TRIES to think creatively standing outside of Thomas Edison's lab in Ft. Myers, FL.

Chris has been married to his wife, Rachel, since 2007, and has two beautiful daughters named Laura and Lucykate! He is an ordained minister in the independant Christian Churches / Churches of Christ and has a passion to love and help people who struggle to love and help themselves. Chris has recently left church ministry to pursue teaching middle school math where he feels he can live out his passion more effectively. His favs include Dr. Pepper, Cheez-Its, and late night talk shows. (He even attended Late Show with David Letterman once with his grandmother. The guest stars were Orlando Bloom and Alicia Keys. Did you see that episode?) He enjoys playing music, his former hobby of skydiving, but one of his favorite and most useful hobbies is writing. His writing includes authoring two books (An Attempt to Prove God and Living the Lord's Prayer), plus an appearance in Group Magazine, the world's most read youth ministry magazine.

“If you’re in a forest and there’s nothing but green trees —everything being as you’d normally see it—but then you see a blue tree with blue bark, blue leaves, blue branches, well, it would catch your eye. And as Christians we’re called to stand out, to be different—like blue trees.” -Aaron Boyd (lead singer of the band Bluetree)
